Co-operation with Industry and Society

As a student, you will encounter our partners from business and society throughout your education. They will turn up as guest lectures or at career fairs, they will give you assignments for your final exams, offer you scholarships, jobs and help to make sure your education is always relevant for reality.

Close collaboration with business and society has been an integral part of activities at the School from the very outset. Today, a large number of companies and public organisations actively support and engage with the School. This ensures that our education and researchg are highly relevant.

Career opportunities

After a lot of hard work you probably wonder "is this worth it?". The answer is YES!

Studying at the School of Business, Economics and Law gives you a great knowledge base and an exclusive network. Within the world of economics there are endless potential of future careers.

Many of our alumni come back to share their experiences. During Open House (former Master's days) we interviewed some of them.

Industry and society want to connect with you

The School has about 30 partner companies who want to connect with students from the School.

Kerstin Renard, HR Manager at Volvo Group about why we are one out of nine universities in the world chosen as Preferred Talent Partner:

"We have chosen universities that we would like to cooperate with more focused and over a longer period of time. We view aspects like quality of education and international relations with other universities, as well as an educational content that suits our need."

The Students' Association

HHGS offers you the opportunity to develop outside the framework of your academic studies. By being involved in Students' Association projects, sections and companies, you can test your knowledge in practice.

The Students' Association provides numerous opportunities for you to meet future employers and ensures that your time at the School is highly enjoyable. HHGS also has an important role to play in monitoring course programmes and acting as student representatives on different boards and committees within the School. More social and/or career-improving activities are done by the approximately 30 parts which are everything from the international committee, the pub and sport groups.

To top it all off, HHGS arranges GADDEN, Scandinavia's largest job fair, where you will meet a variety of companies and create valuable contacts for the future.
