Students enrolled in the Programme in Logistics Management (Handelshögskolans Logistikprogram, 5 years = 300 hp) at the School of Business, Economics and Law can choose to continue their studies with a Master of Science (MSc) programme (2 years = 120 hp) within the Graduate School after completion of the first three years. You are guaranteed a study place in one of the below MSc programmes, if you fulfill the entrance requirements, within 6 years from the year you were admitted to the programme. (Example: admitted 2013, you are guaranteed to start a MSc programme in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019).
International Business and Trade
Logistics and Transport Management
Innovation and Industrial Management
Marketing and Consumption
You are also eligible for the MSc programme Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship but there is a specific selection procedure for that programme. It means that you have to take part in a dialogue with the programme management team and there is no guaranteed study place for students from the Programme in Logistics Management.
Students must meet the following requirements to be able to start studies at the master level:
• Courses from year 1-3 finished.
• English B from Secondary School (gymnasiet).
• Statistics 15 hec (hp) (MSc programme in Knowledge-based Entrepreneurship an exception).
• Programme specific requirements. Read more
The student counsellors at the Graduate School take care of your registration for a MSc programme. You do not have to apply on www.antagning.se. You select three MSc programmes and rank them, on a specific form (see menu on the left). The form must be handed in to the student counsellors at the Graduate School on 1 April at the latest. The aim is to give every student his/her first choice of programme. If there must be a selection it will be based on the grades of the courses at the bachelor’s level (year 1-3). Exchange studies will not be taken into consideration.
Note! Only students who meet the entrance requirements will be offered a study place in a MSc programme.
If you were admitted to Handelshögskolans Logistikprogram before 2013 you can apply to be transferred to the same programme syllabus as students admitted 2013. It means that you would also be guaranteed a study place in a MSc programme. The entrance requirements and guidelines stated here would be applicable also to you.
Each year the Graduate School meets students in their 3rd year of studies to inform about the entrance requirements, registration procedure etc. Graduate School also has an information event called Master's Week in February, where the MSc programmes are presented. Information is also sent out to the students by emails during the period of study.
More detailed information about the courses included in the MSc programmes are presented on the University of Gothenburg Learning Platform: GUL (Note! Different sites for bachelor’s level and master’s level)
You are also welcome to contact the student counsellors for the programme at any time.
