The School of Business, Economics and Law is a Faculty at the University of Gothenburg and is led by a Faculty Board, which is responsible for undergraduate education, research and postgraduate education. The various activities are organised into four departments and a number of research centres. There are also a number of support functions.
The University of Gothenburg has a decentralised structure, which gives the School of Business, Economics and Law a great deal of independence. It is, for example, responsible for its staff and finances and the quality and development of its programmes.
The School of Business, Economics and Law is led by a Dean, Professor Per Cramér, and an Assistant Dean and a Vice-Dean. The management team reports to the Faculty Board.
The Corporate Advisory Board provides strategic advice and practical support to the Management Team. The main focus for discussion is the interface between academia and society as well as demands and needs from the corporate world concerning the School's core activities.
The International Academic Advisory Council was established in 2013, with the aim to further strengthen the international dimension in the School's governance. The Council serves in a consultativr role, providing ideas and critical feedback to the Management Team.
